Hertfordshire's manor houses and barn venues are made for a great live band. AfroSync brings Afrobeat, jazz and soul to weddings and events across the county, from intimate to grand.
Hertfordshire sits close enough to London for high expectations and far enough out for real countryside grandeur, and AfroSync is built for both. Our signature trio of piano, saxophone and djembe suits the county's Georgian manor houses and beamed barn conversions, while vocalist May can front the line-up when a wedding or gala wants a bigger centre of gravity.
From the estates around St Albans and Hertford to the golf and country clubs dotted across the Chilterns fringe, these are rooms that reward musicianship over volume. AfroSync moves from Fela Kuti grooves through jazz into reggae and soul, reading the floor as the night builds. Full PA and performance lighting come as standard, so the sound and look hold up in a grand hall or a stripped-back barn.
We travel across Hertfordshire from our Kent base with straightforward logistics and PAT-certified, fully insured equipment. Load-in, sound check and set timings are agreed in advance with your venue and planner, so the day runs cleanly around your schedule.

- Yes. We travel across Hertfordshire from our Faversham base, from St Albans and Hertford out to the Chilterns fringe. Manor houses, barns, golf estates and country-house hotels are all settings the band is at home in, with full PA and lighting included.
- Can you tailor the line-up to our venue size?
- Yes. The core is a piano, saxophone and djembe trio, ideal for intimate manor rooms, and vocalist May can front the band for larger halls and barns. We also bring marimba, mbira and talking drum to shape the sound to the space.
